Collaboration with ROC Da Vinci College takes visible shape at office entrance

Today marked a festive milestone for Saltwater Engineering B.V.: student Rio Hoogesteger from the ROC Da Vinci College officially unveiled and signed his winning design – a powerful visual of a lighthouse – at our new office at the Leerpark.

The artwork now features on the long wall next to the entrance and symbolizes direction, safety, and a beacon of light – values that align perfectly with the DNA of Saltwater Engineering. The lighthouse design was the result of a unique collaboration with the Media & Design program at ROC Da Vinci College, where students were invited to contribute ideas for this prominent space.

The first ideas and moodboards were presented in May, after which Rio’s concept was chosen as the winner. Today, the project reached a beautiful conclusion with the official signing and unveiling on site.

Through this collaboration, we underscore our commitment to talent development and strengthening the connection between education and engineering.
