Inclination test
Undertaking a deadweight survey and subsequent inclination test is something that Saltwater does on a regular basis. Every vessel is different and brings its own set of challenges to the table. The Fortuna, owned by Rederij Groen, was no different. Since the vessel was built in 1954 no digital data of the vessel is available. Our engineers took a trip into the past, working with blueprints and the original hand stability calculations.
The tasks that were completed were a deadweight survey, inclination test, and a new fully updated stability booklet. All results and subsequent documentation were corresponded with the Dutch authorities and have been fully approved.
