Saltwater Engineering B.V. was contracted by Boskalis to implement several design alterations to an existing injector foot. The injector foot was scanned in order to be able to reproduce the engineering documentation for further processing. In collaboration with Lido 2D3D a full scale scan of the foot was precisely put together. This was executed using high-quality scanning equipment that generates a 3D point cloud for further processing into a solid model. Using the 3D model the requested design alterations can be implemented and an as built engineering package be produced for future reference.
