Saltwater Engineering was contracted to perform load out assessments, stability calculations and a mooring analysis for the transport and load out of various bridge parts from two different building locations to her final resting position in Utrecht. The works involved a variety of specialisms such as the usage of specialist software for stability and mooring arrangements. The tidal difference of the quaysides combined with the availability of limited fleet material from the client resulted in a “narrow” fit as can be seen in the project pictures.
