Dit onderhoudsponton ondersteunt de apparatuur die wordt ingezet bij het afzinken van de tunnelelementen. Onze werkzaamheden waren erop gericht Helen voor te bereiden op veilige en betrouwbare offshore onderhoudswerkzaamheden gedurende het afzinkproces.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>De scope van Saltwater omvatte structural, mechanical en detailed engineering voor verschillende onderling verbonden onderdelen van Helen. Dit betrof onder andere de limpet dam droogdokken en deuren, de dek- en constructieve outfitting en de supports voor de hoisting frames. Door deze systemen als onderdeel van \u00e9\u00e9n ge\u00efntegreerd platform te engineeren, hielp Saltwater Helen te ontwikkelen tot een volledig uitgerust onderhoudsponton voor de aanleg van de Fehmarnbelt-tunnel.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Engineering van de limpet dams<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Een van de meest kenmerkende onderdelen van Helen is de integratie van twee <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saltwater.nl\/nl\/projecten\/engineering-de-limpet-dam\/\">limpet dam<\/a> droogdokken. Deze constructies bieden gecontroleerde toegang tot apparatuur langs het ponton en vereisten zowel structural engineering als gedetailleerde production engineering.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Saltwater ontwikkelde de limpet dam en de ge\u00efntegreerde deur, van de eerste constructieberekeningen en het algemene constructieplan tot een productiegereed ontwerp.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>De volledige constructie werd in 3D gemodelleerd met ShipConstructor. Vanuit dit model genereerde het engineeringteam de constructietekeningen, snijbestanden en profielschetsen die nodig waren voor de productie.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>De deuren zelf zijn ongeveer 7 bij 5 meter groot en combineren hun aanzienlijke afmetingen en gewicht met hoge eisen aan waterdichtheid. Hydraulische borgpennen vergrendelen elke deur in gesloten positie, terwijl een doorlopende rubberen afdichting voor de vereiste waterdichtheid zorgt. Meerdere heavy-duty scharnieren zorgen voor een gecontroleerde en stabiele beweging.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=&#8221;5\/12&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;17180&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221; css=&#8221;&#8221; el_class=&#8221;full-width-img&#8221;][vc_empty_space height=&#8221;50px&#8221;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;17150&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221; css=&#8221;&#8221; el_class=&#8221;full-width-img&#8221;][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_empty_space height=&#8221;50px&#8221;][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h3>Outfitting van het onderhoudsponton<\/h3>\n<p>Naast de limpet dams was Saltwater verantwoordelijk voor een breed scala aan <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saltwater.nl\/nl\/projecten\/engineering-van-de-barge\/\">constructieve outfitting<\/a> aan boord van Helen.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Dit omvatte onder andere loopbruggen en relingen, ge\u00efntegreerd leidingwerk onder het dek, grillages voor containerapparatuur, draglines voor de inzet van rupskranen en bevestigingspunten voor veilig transport.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Hoewel deze elementen minder zichtbaar zijn dan de hoofdconstructies, zijn ze essentieel voor de dagelijkse werkzaamheden aan boord. Een zorgvuldige integratie zorgt ervoor dat apparatuur toegankelijk blijft, werkzaamheden veilig kunnen worden uitgevoerd en de beschikbare dekruimte effici\u00ebnt wordt benut.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=&#8221;80px&#8221;][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h3>Supports voor de hoisting frames<\/h3>\n<p>Saltwater verzorgde ook de detailed engineering van de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saltwater.nl\/nl\/projecten\/hijsframe-supports-voor-fehmarnbelt\/\">supports voor de hoisting frames<\/a> aan boord van Helen.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Elk hoisting frame bestaat uit een boven- en onderbalk die met elkaar zijn verbonden door een hydraulische cilinder. Deze cilinder maakt de lineaire beweging van de bovenbalk mogelijk en vereiste daarom een nauwkeurige integratie met de omliggende staalconstructie.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Vanwege de complexiteit van de constructies werden de las- en verspaningswerkzaamheden eerst gemodelleerd in Autodesk Inventor. Hierdoor konden mogelijke productieproblemen al v\u00f3\u00f3r de start van de productie worden ge\u00efdentificeerd.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Tijdens dit proces bleek dat de oorspronkelijke positie van de padeyes voor de hydraulische cilinder onvoldoende ruimte bood voor de voorgeschreven lasverbindingen. In overleg met de klant werd het ontwerp daarom aangepast en gekozen voor geboute padeye-verbindingen.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Ook werd veel aandacht besteed aan concentriciteit, rechtheid, haaksheid, vlakheid, passingen en bewerkingstoleranties. Deze eisen zorgden voor een correcte uitlijning van de hydraulische componenten en een soepele beweging tussen de boven- en onderbalken.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>De resulterende 3D-modellen vormden de basis voor gedetailleerde productietekeningen voor zowel de gelaste constructie als de frees-, draai- en snijwerkzaamheden.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=&#8221;80px&#8221;][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h3>Van constructief concept tot productiedetail<\/h3>\n<p>Helen laat zien hoe breed de engineering is die nodig is om een drijvende constructie te transformeren tot een speciaal ontworpen offshore werkplatform.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Binnen het project bracht Saltwater structural engineering, mechanical integration, detailed engineering en outfitting samen in \u00e9\u00e9n ge\u00efntegreerde oplossing. Van grote waterdichte deuren en hydraulische apparatuur tot de kleinere details die de dagelijkse werkzaamheden mogelijk maken: elk onderdeel werd ontworpen met productie, installatie en gebruik in
