To further strengthen our team Saltwater Engineering is looking for a Lead Structural Engineer to support the design and engineering works that are completed at our office. The engineer will be responsible for the structural design of both new build vessels and modification works based on the standard classiciation society regulations, such as LR, DNV, BV, GL, ABS and RMRS. A good working knowledge of standard practices used during the production of our designs is vital.

Saltwater Engineering is looking for an expansion in it’s team. The function of an engineer contains a wide variety of works, but is mainly focused on proper engineering using well known software such as Autocad, Shipconstructor and Rhinoceros.

Tasks will include the development of concept- and basic designs of a variety of different ship types ranging from small craft and yachts all the way to the offshore. The engineer will deal with works such as constructional drawings, outfitting drawings, strength calculations, etc.  Basic knowledge of major Rules and Regulations is required. Three years of experience in the shipbuilding industry is preferred.
